Brain Bank Singapore's Tree of Hope is located at Singapore Botanic Gardens from 4 Dec 2021 to 2 Jan 2022. Decorated trees around the gardens are lit from 7pm to 12midnight daily. All are welcome!
The Tree of Hope at the Singapore Botanic Gardens pays tribute to the more than 140 people who have registered to donate their brains to research when they pass on. Their donations will help find better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat life-changing conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s disease, motor neuron disease and multiple sclerosis. The flowers, butterflies, and ladybugs used to decorate the tree are made out of recycled materials. They represent hope and new life that future scientific discoveries can bring with continued research into various neurological and psychiatric conditions affecting the brain. Visit the Brain Bank Singapore Tree of Hope from 4 Dec 2021 to 2 Jan 2022! The decorated trees will be lit up at 7pm to 12 midnight daily.
